Alaskan oil bowl in the shape of Thunderbird or Raven, attributed to Amos Wallace, this is a line of cast items, not an actual carving, signed "Amos Wallace – Griffins Alaska – 1964". This raven oil bowl is cast from an original Amos Wallace carving and dated 1964. The color is very good and looks like wood.This reproduction was made by Griffin’s Alaska Wholesale; based on an original work by Amos Wallace. Size: " H, Diameter ".
Amos Wallace was a very famous Tlingit carver, and worked for several years in the 1960’s with the Disney Corporation, this is a nice solid heavy piece that looks like stone.
Size: 11" x 7 1/2" x 3".
